Nature's Carbon Capture

Plants absorb a net of 7.6 billion tons of carbon dioxide per year through photosynthesis. They are nature's perfect direct air capture machine! Well... almost perfect. When plants die due to deforestation, wildfires, or other disturbances, they release their carbon stores back into the atmosphere.

Biomass as a Carbon Source

By intercepting biomass before it has a chance to decay, we harness the plant's natural carbon stores without needing to rely on mechanical carbon capture methods (which consume additional energy). 

Reactor Technology

Using off-the-shelf materials, we are building a reactor that will convert these bio-sourced raw materials into valuable industrial gases, which are then sold to chemical manufacturing companies.

Carbon Negative

Depending on the energy source used to power our gas converter, 1kg of our product will result in -1.8 to -4.1kg carbon emissions. That's because our process both removes carbon from the atmosphere (via plant photosynthesis) and prevents additional emissions from the traditional fossil-fueled methods to make industrial gasses.
