Nature's Carbon Capture

Plants absorb a net of 7.6 billion tons of carbon dioxide per year through photosynthesis. They are nature's perfect direct air capture machine! Well... almost perfect. When we ferment plant matter to make beer or wine or other products, we generate CO2 as well.

Using CO2 as a Carbon Source

By intercepting fermentation-CO2 before it has a chance to get into the atmosphere, we harness naturally occurring CO2 without needing to rely on mechanical carbon capture methods (which consume additional energy). 

Reactor Technology

Using specialized microbes and off-the-shelf materials, we are building a reactor that will convert this CO2 into valuable industrial feedstock, which are then sold to sustainable fuels and chemical manufacturing companies.

Carbon Negative

Our process both removes carbon from the atmosphere and prevents additional emissions from the traditional fossil-fueled methods to make fuels and chemical feedstock.
